This place is a great place to eat at if you are craving Mexican food and you’ve just got out from visiting the Pledge Arena. The place is small but the atmosphere is incredible. The staff is friendly and professional. The restroom is clean but be cautious of the women’s restroom. It can get crowded and the wait line can be long. The wife really enjoyed her mango margarita. She said it was the best she had ever tasted. If the wife and I are ever in the area and we’re craving Mexican food we will definitely go back.
The Agave Cocina & Tequila restaurant was really beautiful. There is a gorgeous fountain in the middle of the dining room. The nachos with chicken were impressive, full of cheese, and the chicken had so much flavor. My personal favorite was the pickled onion on it. Our waitress made us a mango strawberry lemonade, and the Agave sugar in it was special, I've never tasted something like that before, I definitely recommend it. I ordered the steak tacos served with rice and black beans. The beans were not that special. The rice was flavorful and fluffy, and the tacos were delicious but falling through the thin flour tortilla. Overall, I recommend it.
#AgaveCocinaAndTequila on Queen Anne is a great place to enjoy drinks and a meal. I Went on #TacoTuesday with my friend, it’s a tradition for us when I am in town. We usually go to a local bar we enjoy, for taco Tuesday, but decided to go to Agave instead. My friend ordered the #AgaveBurrito which he enjoyed. I ordered the special of beautiful chimichurri #salmonTacos I really enjoyed them (had to have salmon while in the PNW). For my side I went with the #habanero #BrusselSprouts I loved that I could replace the typical beans and rice with a yummier, more interesting, side. The sprouts were grilled wonderfully, very tasty, and not too spicy. We, of course, enjoyed #margaritas I ordered a very tasty basil botanical margarita and a prickly pear, ginger margarita. Both were extra special and yummy. I had never had those flavors in a Margarita before, I’d get them again. We ended the meal with a dessert of lovely, creamy, crispy #churros crisp Mexican pastry dusted with cinnamon and sugar. The dessert was so much yum. I look forward to returning to Agave Cocina & Tequila and enjoying more tasty drinks and yummy, flavorful, food.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Love the decor. My husband and I enjoyed a meal before attending a concert. They are located next to Climate Pledge Arena. Photos are of the chicken enchilada and beef brisket enchilada.
Been here multiple times over the years. Consistently always good. Today we sat in the bar. The bar menu is small but good. Our food came out within a reasonable amount of time. The food was great and the portions are plentiful. Ordered chicken tinga tacos. And a carnitas burrito. Both were delish!
The drinks and atmosphere are nice! The food is hit or miss.
Over the course of several years, I've been here many times; however, during my most recent visits, the food has not been that great. Sometimes it is appetizing, other times, not so much.
During my most recent visit, our server was friendly and attentive. We went around 5-6pm, and it wasn't super busy. The chips and salsa were pretty good. The appetizer was delicious. But the sauce used on my chicken enchiladas tasted like it had been sitting out for quite a while, definitely not fresh. My partner's tacos were great though.
Food and service was awesome! Server was friendly and attentive. I was on my way to glass and garden chihuly museum and decided and wanted to have lunch before going in. It was a great choice!! Food was delicious, I would definitely come back next time I’m in Seattle. Don’t be afraid of the enchiladas, they were on point. Not spicy at all and everything taste AMAZING. Thank you.
Walk distance from Space needle, garden and glass and other museums.
The best beef birria tacos I've ever had in my life! The service was excellent! We will definitely go again!!!
